Friday 24th of January 2020 witnessed historical agreement for Sudan and Sudanese nation between the transitional government and the Popular Movement, North Sector, commanded by Malik Agar, framework agreement was singed in the presidential palace in the capital of South Sudan (Juba) , honored by the presence of President Silva Kiir Mayardit.
Government represented by the Vice President of the Sovereign Council, the head of the negotiating team, Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo “Hamidati”, and the Popular Movement, Major General Ahmed al-Omda Badi, signed the government.
The framework included political agreement, security arrangements, humanitarian affairs, and the decentralization of the three levels (Federal – State – Local)
