Al-Ahly coach before the derby match against Al-Ittihad: We are working to make Jeddah green
The technical director of Al-Ahly’s first football team, Yasla, said that he has a special “tactic” for the upcoming derby against Al-Ittihad, and he will not reveal it, and he has a special plan for victory.
Al-Ahly will face its counterpart, Al-Ittihad, tomorrow evening, Thursday, in the opening of the 9th round of the Roshan Saudi Professional League, at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, “The Radiant Jewel” in Jeddah.
“Yasla” continued in the press conference before the derby match against Al-Ittihad: “We know the differences in contracts between us and Al-Ittihad this season, but we will work to make Jeddah green in the derby.”
He added: “When I arrived at Al-Ahly, I found that the contracts were complete in the team. I needed time to adapt to life here and the league here, and we need time to establish our philosophy at the first team level up to the academy, and this naturally requires time.”
“Yasla” concluded: “I know that the attendance of Al-Ahly fans will be the least in the derby, because the confrontation is on Al-Ittihad soil, but I know that they will have a great influence.”
