Great reactions after the second screening of “Dune”

A number of viewers of the second screening of “Dune” expressed their admiration for the film on social networking sites, and their reactions were as follows

Okay just about everything in this trailer is amazing but can we take a second to appreciate Javier Bardem as Stilgar. His cadence, delivery, facial expressions, everything just feels straight out of the book. There’s gonna be some stellar performances in Part 2 but him talking to Paul using dialogue directly from the book gave me chills and made me tear up, he is so perfect as Stilgar. SO much love for the source material is on display here, I genuinely cannot wait for this film
I think that making Dune a two part movie was a great idea. It can cover the entire novel, which hopefully will help people that didn’t read the novel understand and enjoy the film better. It’s too bad that David Lynch couldn’t make a two part movie of Dune in 1984, but unfortunately the concept of a multi part movie adaptation of a novel was unknown back then
What hypes me the most is not the costumes, the settings, the cast, the drama or the scene, but the voice and the music. The track of this movie and the previous one are soooo immersive – I really feel like being dragged into the sand to finally emerge to light, as the female voice rises up. I can’t wait to have this flight. Such an insipring work of art
The face of Stilgar when he sees paul riding the worm, gave me goosepumps, its as if he could see the future himself. Can’t wait for the movie

Dune Part Two is the upcoming sequel to the 2021 science fiction film Dune, directed by Denis Villeneuve. The first movie is based on the first half of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert, which tells the story of a young man named Paul Atreides (played by Timothée Chalamet) who becomes embroiled in a power struggle for control of the desert planet Arrakis, which is the only source of a valuable substance known as “spice.”
