أعلنت وزيرة الخارجية الألمانية أنالينا بيربوك، عن قيامها بجولة أفريقية تشمل كل من “جيبوتي وكينيا وجنوب السودان”، بهدف جلب بجلب قائد الجيش السوداني عبدالفتاح البرهان وقائد مليشيا الدعم السريع محمد حمدان دقلو “حميدتي”، إلى طاولة المفاوضات حتى لا ينجر السودانيين عميقاً في الهاوية  وزعزعة استقرار المنطقة .

وقالت في تغريدة على منصة إكس: بالنسبة لي من الواضح أنه يتعين علينا زيادة الضغط على الجانبين من خلال العقوبات ومحاسبتهما على انتهاكاتهما بحق السكان المدنيين والتأثير على مؤيديهما في الخارج”.

وتابعت “السودان لن يحظى بسلام طويل الأمد إلا مع حكومة ديموقراطية مدنية، وأشدد على أن النزاع لا ينبغي أن يصير “أزمة منسية”.

She continued, “Sudan will not achieve long-term peace except with a civilian democratic government, and I stress that the conflict should not become a ‘forgotten crisis’.”
