رحبت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان التابع للأمم المتحدة بإنشاء بعثة دولية لتقصي الحقائق في السودان الذي يشهد قتالاً بين الجيش وقوات الدعم السريع منذ إبريل الماضي، فيما تفاوتت ردود فعل قوى سياسية سودانية حول القرار، في حين حذرت منظمة (أطباء بلا حدود) من أن الوضع الصحي على حافة الانهيار.
وقالت السفارة الأمريكية بالخرطوم، في بيان عبر منصة إكس، أمس الأول الخميس: إن الخطوة «استجابة ضرورية للأزمة الإنسانية لحقوق الإنسان في السودان، وقد شاركت واشنطن في رعاية هذا الاقتراح».

وقال التحالف في بيان إنها إجراءات لازمة وضرورية ليس لوقف الحرب وإنما لضمان عدم تكرار حدوثها مستقبلاً، ومن الضرورة استكمال هذه التحقيقات بإحالة كل التهم المرتبطة بتلك الانتهاكات إلى المحكمة الجنائية الدولية بواسطة مجلس الأمن.

وحذرت منظمة أطباء بلا حدود من أن الوضع الصحي في السودان على حافة الانهيار، وأن الاستجابة غير كافية لتلبية احتياجات الناس الهائلة في المناطق التي يتم فيها تقديم المساعدة. وأوضحت أن العاملين بالمجال الصحي والمتطوعين يكافحون من أجل الاستجابة لاحتياجات الناس الطبية.
One person was killed in clashes in Qamayer
