أصدرت غرفة طوارئ بحري شمال العاصمة السودانية، تحذيرًا عاجلًا بشأن انتشار الكوليرا في المنطقة، داعية إلى التعرف على الأعراض واتخاذ الإجراءات الوقائية اللازمة لمنع تفشي المرض.
وبحسب بيان للغرفة السبت، فإن الأعراض تشمل غثيان وقيء وإسهال مائي حاد غالبًا ما يكون لونه مائلًا للبياض ويشبه مياه الأرز، بجانب تقلصات عضلية مؤلمة وقلة إفراز البول هبوط عام في الجسم.
The Bahri Emergency Room, north of the Sudanese capital, issued an urgent warning about the spread of cholera in the region, calling for recognizing the symptoms and taking the necessary preventive measures to prevent the spread of the disease.
According to a statement by the chamber on Saturday, the symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and severe watery diarrhea, which is often whitish in color and resembles rice water, in addition to painful muscle contractions, decreased urine secretion, and general decline in the body.
وأشارت الغرفة في بيانها إلى أن هذه الأعراض تستمر من ساعتين إلى 12 ساعةـ وأنه خلال هذه الفترة، يفقد المريض كميات كبيرة من السوائل، مما يؤدي إلى جفاف حاد يمكن أن يكون مميتًا إذا لم يتم العلاج بسرعة.
ونوهت الغرفة إلى أن بعض المصابين بالكوليرا قد لا تظهر عليهم الأعراض، لكنهم يظلون قادرين على نقل العدوى عبر المياه الملوثة ببرازهم.
فيما دعت الجميع لتوخي الحذر والالتزام بالإجراءات الصحية، مثل تجنب المياه الملوثة، وغسل اليدين بانتظام، لضمان سلامتهم وسلامة المجتمع.

The chamber noted that some people infected with cholera may not show symptoms, but they are still able to transmit the infection through water contaminated with their feces.
