قال “فتح الرحمن يوسف” الكاتب والباحث السياسي في صحيفة الشرق الأوسط، إن الأزمة السودانية طال أمدها، مما نتج عنها معاناة إنسانية غير مسبوقة يعيشها الشعب السوداني.
وأضاف خلال حديثه في برنامج “هنا الرياض”، أن إنهاء الأزمة في السودان ليس مرتبطا إطلاقا بتنحي كلا من قائد القوات المسلحة “عبدالفتاح البرهان”، وقائد قوات الدعم السريع “حميدتي”.
وأكد أن قوات الدعم السريع لديها طموحات قديمة، وتنامت في ظل الظروف الراهنة من أجل استلام سلطة الحكم في السودان والإحلال محل الجيش السوداني المنظم بمساعدة بعض من الحركات المدنية، واصفا ذلك بالأمر الخطير.
ودعا كلا من طرفي النزاع لوقف القتال والعودة إلى طاولة المفاوضات لكي ينعم الشعب السوداني بالأمن والاستقرار الذي لطالما حلم به.
Fath al-Rahman Youssef, a writer and political researcher at Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, said that the Sudanese crisis has been prolonged, resulting in unprecedented human suffering experienced by the Sudanese people.
He added, during his speech on the “Hana Al Riyadh” program, that ending the crisis in Sudan is not at all linked to the resignation of both the commander of the armed forces, “Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan,” and the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, “Hamedti.”
He stressed that the Rapid Support Forces have old ambitions, and they have grown under the current circumstances in order to take over the power of governance in Sudan and replace the organized Sudanese army with the help of some civil movements, describing this as a dangerous matter.
He called on both sides of the conflict to stop the fighting and return to the negotiating table so that the Sudanese people can enjoy the security and stability they have always dreamed of.
