مصر تدعو لمواجهة تداعيات الأزمة السودانية «بشكل عاجل».. وزير الخارجية المصري يعرض طرق حل الأزمة… وبدء عملية سياسية شاملة
Egypt calls for confronting the repercussions of the Sudanese crisis “urgently.” The Egyptian Foreign Minister presents ways to resolve the crisis… and start a comprehensive political process
أكد وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج، بدر عبد العاطي، يوم الثلاثاء، على أهمية “الحفاظ على الدولة السودانية ومواردها ومؤسساتها، ومعالجة التبعات الإنسانية للأزمة الحالية بشكل جدي وسريع”.
On Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, Badr Abdel Aty, stressed the importance of “preserving the Sudanese state, its resources and institutions, and addressing the humanitarian consequences of the current crisis seriously and quickly.”
حدث ذلك عندما استقبل الوزير عبد العاطي، الثلاثاء، بمقر وزارة الخارجية، مبعوثة الاتحاد الأوروبي للقرن الأفريقي، أنيت فيبر، حسبما أفاد المتحدث باسم الخارجية أحمد أبو زيد. وأوضح المتحدث في بيان صحفي أنه تم تبادل الآراء حول مجموعة من القضايا والتحديات الأمنية والسياسية في منطقة القرن الأفريقي، حيث حرص الوزير على الاستماع لتقييم شامل من المبعوثة الأوروبية للأوضاع في المنطقة، في ظل التحديات المتزايدة وتصاعد حدة الأزمات، بالإضافة إلى تنامي ظاهرة الإرهاب والتطرف.
This happened when Minister Abdel Ati received, on Tuesday, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union envoy to the Horn of Africa, Annette Weber, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid. The spokesman explained in a press statement that views were exchanged on a group of security and political issues and challenges in the Horn of Africa region, as the minister was keen to listen to a comprehensive assessment from the European envoy of the situation in the region, in light of the increasing challenges and escalation of crises, in addition to the growing phenomenon of terrorism and extremism.
أكد الوزير عبد العاطي أن مصر تُعير أهمية كبيرة لتعزيز علاقاتها مع دول القرن الأفريقي. وأشار إلى أنه في أولى رحلاته الخارجية، توجه إلى الصومال وجيبوتي لافتتاح أول خط طيران مباشر بين الدول الثلاث، مما يعكس عُمق وأهمية علاقات مصر مع هاتين الدولتين. كما أوضح حرص مصر على تحقيق مزيد من الترابط مع دول القرن الأفريقي، نظراً لما تمثّله من عمق استراتيجي للأمن القومي المصري.
Minister Abdel Aty stressed that Egypt attaches great importance to strengthening its relations with the countries of the Horn of Africa. He pointed out that on his first foreign trip, he went to Somalia and Djibouti to open the first direct airline between the three countries, which reflects the depth and importance of Egypt’s relations with these two countries. He also explained Egypt’s keenness to achieve greater connectivity with the countries of the Horn of Africa, given the strategic depth they represent for Egyptian national security.
وفي هذا السياق شدد وزير الخارجية على ضرورة مساندة حكومة الرئيس الصومالي حسن شيخ محمود في تحقيق الأمن والتنمية ومحاربة الإرهاب.
In this context, the Foreign Minister stressed the need to support the government of Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in achieving security, development and combating terrorism.
وأشار المتحدث إلى أن الوزير عبد العاطي تناول مسألة أمن البحر الأحمر وضمان حرية الملاحة الدولية، وكذلك تأثير التهديدات الأمنية المتزايدة على الاقتصاد العالمي، وعلى مصر بشكل خاص، نظرًا للخسائر الناجمة عن تراجع إيرادات قناة السويس.
The spokesman pointed out that Minister Abdel Aty addressed the issue of security of the Red Sea and ensuring freedom of international navigation, as well as the impact of increasing security threats on the global economy, and on Egypt in particular, given the losses resulting from the decline in Suez Canal revenues.
كما استعرض عبد العاطي نتائج مؤتمر القوى السياسية والمدنية السودانية، بالإضافة إلى الجهود المصرية التي تهدف إلى إيجاد أرضية مشتركة بين الأطراف السودانية، لبحث سبل حل الأزمة وبدء عملية سياسية شاملة.
Abdel-Aty also reviewed the results of the Sudanese political and civil forces conference, in addition to the Egyptian efforts aimed at finding common ground between the Sudanese parties, to discuss ways to resolve the crisis and start a comprehensive political process.
في هذا السياق، توافق الطرفان على أهمية توحيد الجهود لتهدئة النزاع، وضرورة التعاون بين جميع مسارات الوساطة الفعالة، واستخدام جميع الوسائل الدبلوماسية والسياسية اللازمة لحل الأزمة بأسرع وقت ممكن.
