يواجه الجنيه السوداني أزمة غير مسبوقة في تدهور قيمته أمام العملات الأجنبية، وخاصة الدولار الأمريكي، الذي اقترب من حدود 900 جنيه في السوق الموازي. وهذا أسوأ مستوى يصل إليه الجنيه السوداني منذ إنشائه.
وقال مصدر مصرفي لموقع أخبار السودان إن سعر الدولار ارتفع إلى 870 جنيها للشراء و880 جنيها للبيع في السوق السوداء اليوم السبت، مضيفا أنه شهد زيادة كبيرة خلال الأيام الماضية. وأوضح المصدر أن الريال السعودي بلغ 230 جنيها.

A banking source told Sudan News website that the price of the dollar rose to 870 pounds for purchase and 880 pounds for sale on the black market today, Saturday, adding that it had witnessed a significant increase over the past days. The source explained that the Saudi riyal reached 230 pounds.

وحذر خبراء اقتصاديون من أن سعر الدولار قد يتخطى ألف جنيه في غضون أشهر قليلة، إذا لم يتدخل البنك المركزي بإجراءات عاجلة لتحسين الحالة المالية والنقدية للبلاد
