The Defense Authority denies the statements of the Minister of Interior

نفت هيئة الدفاع عن المعتقلين من أعضاء النظام السابق تصريحات وزير الداخلية السوداني اللواء المتقاعد خليل باشا سارين، التي قال فيها إن قادة النظام، وعلى رأسهم الرئيس السابق عمر البشير، متواجدون في السلاح الطبي بأمدرمان.

The Defense Committee for Detained Members of the Former Regime denied the statements of the Sudanese Interior Minister, retired Major General Khalil Pasha Sarin, in which he said that the leaders of the regime, led by former President Omar al-Bashir, are present in the medical corps in Omdurman.

 

صرح عضو الهيئة، محمد الحسن الأمين، في بيان أن المعتقلين كانوا موجودين في السلاح الطبي، ولكنهم نقلوا بعد التحام قوات وادي سيدنا مع قوات سلاح المهندسين إلى معتقل بمنطقة وادي سيدنا العسكرية وما زالوا فيها حتى الآن دون توفير أي رعاية طبية لهم على الرغم من حالتهم الصحية الحرجة. لم يتم نقلهم، كما طلبنا، إلى مكان آمن تتوفر فيه الرعاية الصحية بناءً على التقارير الطبية من السلاح الطبي ومستشفى وادي سيدنا.

Member of the Commission, Muhammad Al-Hassan Al-Amin, stated in a statement that the detainees were present in the medical corps, but after the clash between the Wadi Saydna forces and the Engineer Corps forces, they were transferred to a detention center in the Wadi Saydna military area, and they remain there until now without any medical care being provided to them despite their condition. Critical health. They were not transferred, as we requested, to a safe place where health care is available based on medical reports from the Medical Corps and Wadi Sidna Hospital.

وذكر أنه حتى عندما تم نقل العميد المتقاعد يوسف عبد الفتاح إلى مستشفى مروي لإجراء عملية جراحية، أعيد بسرعة إلى وادي سيدنا بعد العملية وقبل أن تلتئم جروحه، ودون أن تجرى له العملية الجراحية الأخرى التي كانت مقررة.

He stated that even when retired Brigadier General Youssef Abdel Fattah was transferred to Marawi Hospital to undergo surgery, he was quickly returned to Wadi Saydna after the operation and before his wounds healed, and without him undergoing the other surgical operation that was scheduled.

 

وأضاف: “ليس صحيحاً أن المعتقلين موجودون الآن في السلاح الطبي. نحن في هيئة الدفاع ما زلنا نطالب بنقلهم إلى موقع آخر يتوفر فيه العلاج المناسب. نحمل القيادة السياسية ورئيس القضاء مسؤولية ما يحدث لهم نظراً لوضعهم الصحي الحرج”.

He added: “It is not true that the detainees are now in the medical corps. We in the defense force are still demanding that they be transferred to another location where appropriate treatment is available. We hold the political leadership and the head of the judiciary responsible for what happens to them given their critical health condition.”

 

وأفاد وزير الداخلية في تصريح لقناة العربية، بأنه قد تم الإفراج عن قادة النظام السابق بشرط أن يلتزموا بالتواجد في مناطق آمنة.

The Minister of Interior stated in a statement to Al Arabiya channel that the leaders of the former regime had been released on the condition that they commit to being present in safe areas.

وكشف أن الرئيس السابق عمر البشير وبعض السياسيين يتواجدون في “مستشفى السلاح الطبي” في أم درمان، وأن 19790 سجيناً تم إطلاق سراحهم خلال هذه الحرب، حيث فرَّ نحو 3000 منهم من المحكوم عليهم بالإعدام من السجون.

He revealed that former President Omar al-Bashir and some politicians are present in the “Weapon Medical Hospital” in Omdurman, and that 19,790 prisoners were released during this war, with about 3,000 of them escaping from prisons sentenced to death.
