Progress calls for restoring the path of peace, freedom and justice
رحبت تنسيقية القوى الديمقراطية المدنية (تقدم)، بانعقاد القمة الاستثنائية رقم ٤١ لرؤساء دول الايقاد يوم السبت ٩ ديسمبر ٢٠٢٣ والتي ناقشت الأوضاع في السودان مؤكدة الالتزام الجاد لدول الإقليم والقارة الافريقية بالعمل المكثف لإحلال السلام في السودان، وإنهاء الكارثة التي أحلت به بسبب الحرب ومخلفاتها.
The Civilian Workforce Efforts (Taqaddum) welcomed the support of the 41st Kuwaiti summit of IGAD heads of state on Saturday, December 9, 2023, which discussed the situation in Sudan, in which countries of the region and the continent are seriously burdened with work to confront peace in Sudan, and end the disaster that befell it due to the war and its backwardness.
وحيت (تقدم) في بيان لها بتاريخ 11 ديسمبر 2023 هذه الجهود، وأعلنت عن دعمها للالتزامات التي قطعتها قيادة القوات المسلحة السودانية وقوات الدعم السريع بالاتفاق على وقف إطلاق نار فوري وغير مشروط، وهو ما يهيئ الاوضاع لاختيار طريق الحلول السلمية والنأي عن زيادة حدة المواجهات المسلحة التي كلفت البلاد تكلفة انسانية مروعة ودمرت اقتصادها وبنيتها التحتية.
In a statement dated December 11, 2023, Taqaddam saluted these efforts and announced its support for the commitments made by the leadership of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces to agree on an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, which creates the conditions for choosing the path of peaceful solutions and avoiding the increase in the intensity of armed confrontations. Which cost the country a horrific humanitarian cost and destroyed its economy and infrastructure.
ونددت (تقدم) بالبيان الصادر باسم الخارجية السودانية، والذي يؤكد على حد قولها على اختطاف لسان الدولة السودانية بواسطة فلول النظام السابق، ويثبت سعيهم الحثيث للعودة إلى السلطة فوق جثث ودماء الشعب السوداني.
Taqadum denounced the statement issued in the name of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry, which, it said, confirms the hijacking of the Sudanese state by the remnants of the former regime, and proves their relentless pursuit to return to power over the corpses and blood of the Sudanese people.
وشدد البيان على أن إرادة السلام لدى شعبنا هي الأعلى، وإن أبواق الحرب يجب أن تصمت، لتنتهي الحرب ويسترد مسار السلام والحرية والعدالة الذي أختاره الشعب السوداني في ثورة ديسمبر المجيدة لإقامة الدولة المدنية، دولة المواطنة المتساوية والعدالة الاجتماعية والعدالة النوعية.
The statement stressed that the will for peace among our people is supreme, and that the trumpets of war must be silent, so that the war may end and the path of peace, freedom and justice that the Sudanese people chose in the glorious December revolution to establish the civil state, the state of equal citizenship, social justice and qualitative justice be restored.
